O’Toole Smith
Principal and Co-Founder With 15+ years of marketing experience, Pat has successfully developed and managed corporate and product brands while helping to drive revenue through direct and indirect channels. Both entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies have benefited from her contributions in both strategic planning and tactical implementation. Pat brings in-depth expertise in positioning and message development, integrated program development, strategic planning, market research, corporate identity, program management, design management, internet marketing, collateral, copywriting and events.
In addition to current clients, Pat has assisted companies such as Media 100, Global Knowledge Network, USWeb Learning, Genrad, Security Dynamics, Helius, Progress Software, Cognos, Prime Computer and Computervision among others. Prior to co-founding Smith & Suita, Pat was Director of Marketing for Global Knowledge Network – the world’s largest independent IT training organization. Paula Levis Suita
Principal and Co-Founder Paula has more than 20 years experience successfully positioning and increasing visibility and sales for various Fortune 100, small cap and pre-IPO companies. Her contributions in strategic planning and tactical implementation have helped companies such as InstallFree, AppSense Ltd., CardScan, Open Market, Lowrie, Lando & Anastasi LLP, Quincy Medical Center, MassBay Community College and others attains high recognition and positive visibility in the press.
Prior to co-founding Smith & Suita, Paula worked in a number of responsible positions at Prime Computer and Computervision (now known as PTC), VMARK Software (now part of IBM), and Honeywell among others. She began her career as a news reporter for The Eagle-Tribune newspaper (Lawrence, MA).
Paula is a graduate of Marymount College, Tarrytown, New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She has completed postgraduate work toward an MBA at Babson College and is an active member of the Gotham Networking Group in Boston. She also served as a past member of the board of the Publicity Club of Boston and as an active contributor to the Massachusetts Interactive Technology Exchange. Jill LeBallister Dudka
Associate As a take-charge, 13-year veteran of high tech public relations,
investor relations and marketing Jill brings proven strategic
planning, project management and problem solving skills to Smith
& Suita. Able to navigate the intricacies of the fast-paced,
high-tech environment, Jill has successfully managed PR and IR
functions working directly with a variety of constituencies including
executives, editors, analysts, shareholders, brokers and institutional
investors. Her PR experience runs the gamut of developing effective
strategies and programs to support product launches, corporate
acquisitions, and company earnings performance to developing messaging,
angles, and press materials, setting up editorial and analyst
tours, prepping top executives, and securing product reviews,
among other activities. Her ability to tackle tough technology
markets has resulted in positive coverage in a number of publications
including PC Week, Communications Week, Information
Week, Windows Sources, Computer Shopper,
and LAN Times. Jill began her career in marketing communications at Progress
Software Corporation moving to FTP Software, Inc. where she held
positions of Investor Relations Manager and Public Relations Manager.
Jill received an MBA from Boston University Graduate School of
Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from Lowell University.
