Financial Foundations, Inc., a mid-sized full-service
financial service firm, needed to supplement inhouse resources
with experienced marketing talent to develop an actionable marketing
plan and drive company toward the next level of maturity. |

| The Solution |

After evaluating a number of agencies Financial Foundations selected
Smith & Suita as their marketing partner. Phase I consisted
of developing a 12-month marketing plan to help the company understand
it’s true position in the current market and bring unbiased
and experienced insight into how to improve activities as well
as determine what is needed to move forward. Among other things,
Phase II consisted of developing a new web site that not only elevated
the brand identity but also helped to articulate the company’s
unique position and key messages. |

| The Results |
|
A limited budget drove creative thinking. Guerilla level market
research was conducted to get a true and unbiased view into market
requirements and company perception. Thorough analysis of the data
allowed S&S to identify key strengths and weaknesses and develop
a strategy based on customer-driven requirements. This strategy
was supported by a realistic action plan, development schedule
and itemized budget. Upon review the company engaged S&S to
develop a new web site. The new web site tackled image as well
as messaging and resulted in a new look that extended the existing
brand equity and elevated the company’s leadership position.
Company products and services were clearly articulated and education
features were added. |
